PHOTOJOURNALISM

When I first joined yearbook, I underestimated my writing abilities and was set on being a photographer. Although I ended up as predominantly a writer, I still bring my camera to events on which I am reporting. I love taking photos for my own spread to make the work more of my own. The extent of my editing on these pictures reaches to lighting fixes, blurring and cropping. I generally aim to photograph without the intent of editing in my mind, but I learned Photoshop to have the photo editing skills on hand when necessary.
