I joined the Speech Team this year and saw immediate, unprecedented success. I broke into the final round of every speech meet except for my first. I won 9th place in the Illinois High School Association State Competition. Below is my broadcast from a two-day competition at Downers Grove South High School in which I won 2nd place.

I also run the @Vespa Yearbook Twitter. Social media is a growing industry in the realm of Journalism and I feel the skills I have gained from running it will facilitate my growth in the future.
As the Executive Producer of the Multimedia Club, I was in charge of a staff of five and produced, edited, directed, wrote and shot videos. I learned how to do so in the Digital Video Production class my junior year.
